The European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) is an independent civil society platform composed of European NGOs, NGO networks, and think tanks dedicated to peacebuilding and preventing violent conflict. Established in 2001, EPLO aims to influence European policy to promote peace and nonviolent conflict resolution globally. The organization values human rights, non-discrimination, gender equality, cultural diversity, sustainable development, and good governance. EPLO advocates for its members, disseminates information on EU policies, fosters cooperation among member organizations, and holds the EU accountable for its peacebuilding commitments.
