Hannah Bird
Research Fellow
Ms Hannah Bird is a lawyer based in London, having completed her legal training with the UK Government and specialising in employment law. She is currently pursuing a career shift to community and social work in conjunction with her research fellowship, which focuses on potential learnings from community organising and participatory education for humanitarian diplomats and the wider NGO sector. Her extensive experience teaching as an EFL instructor and campaigning with refugee NGOs in the UK and the Middle East form part of her long-term interest in humanitarian causes, and her research links this with her involvement in community organising in London. She holds a BA (Hons) in International History and International Politics (University of Sheffield, UK), an MSc in Public Affairs and Lobbying (Brunel University, UK), and a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course certificate (BPP University, UK).
