Communique Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) 2022

The Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) was held from 19th-21st July in Lilongwe Malawi. The theme of the 11th AfIGF was ‘Digital Inclusion and Trust in Africa’.

The Africa School of Internet Governance (AfriSIG) and the Digital Policy Symposium of African Parliamentarians were held in the context of the forum with the opportunity to launch the African Parliamentary Network on Internet Governance and the Network of African Women in Cybersecurity.

The communique indicates the declaration and commitment of the participants of the forum.  This includes among other things to the development and adoption of Malabo convention and the Africa Union Digital Transformation Strategy 2020-2030.
