Published by Diplo in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in August 2007, ‘Through the Diplomatic Looking Glass’, by Stefano Baldi and Pasquale Baldocci, was the first in a new collection of Diplo publications entitled ‘Diplomats as writers’. This study presents and analyses books published by Italian diplomats.
The more than seven hundred and fifty titles listed give a broad and varied picture of diplomats and the diplomatic world. This volume evokes not only a talent for describing situations and characters, but also the broad and diverse interests that distinguish members of this profession.
